Breeding Plans **Update**

Unfortunately, both of our girls have waited until this month to come into season. This is a full many months after we planned. We will need to hold off any breeding plans until their next cycle at least. If you are looking for a Chinook puppy right now, you might want to check with breeders listed in the Chinook Owners Association (COA) and the Chinook Club of America (CCA).

Aspen's Hips are GOOD!

We received notice that the OFA has rated 'PR' DownDog's Aspen's hips as OFA GOOD! This is great news! Stay tuned for possible breeding plans with Aspen in the future.

Happy 2nd birthday to Aspen!

Aspen is now 2 years old! We have just recently had Aspen's hips evaluated and sent the x-rays off to the OFA. Hopefully she will have her hips rated soon. We will post her hip score on our website when we receive it from the OFA.

Stud selected for our 2010 breeding

We have tentatively selected a stud for our upcoming fall 2010 breeding of Sandhill's Kaya. The stud will be Aspencreek's Jackson Tyee. He's a gorgeous proven male who has produced a lot of wonderful offspring! We are so excited. These will be beautiful puppies!

Quick breeding update

I just wanted to post a quick breeding update. We are definitely planning for a fall 2010 litter for Sandhill's Kaya. We have not yet chosen a stud but are working with three breeding mentors to pick the best match for our girl. We will post stud information and pictures as soon as we have one!

Sandhill's Kaya's hip results are in!

We received Kaya's hip results this past week from OFA and are EXTREMELY happy to announce that she received an EXCELLENT! Her CERF was normal as well. Now that we have these results, we are going to start planning to hopefully breed her in winter 2010. Stay tuned for more details and be sure to check our breeders page on our website periodically for updates.

Kaya turned 2 on September 12th! We will be getting her hips and eyes checked very soon. She just went into heat so it will be at least a month before we can get her hips tested but as soon as we have her hip information, we'll be sure to post it under the breeding link on our website. Stay tuned!
